Ethno-Cultural Vegetable Workshop at the University of Guelph – February 17, 2012

A one day workshop on Friday, February 17th, 2012 will explore the opportunities and barriers of producing and marketing Ethno-Cultural Vegetables (ECV) in Ontario.

Agenda for the day includes:

  • Presentations on opportunities and barriers of the ECV market by various stakeholders
  • A panel discussion on the production of ECV in Ontario
  • Presentations of research findings by the University of Guelph
  • A documentary on ECV
  • Sharing of experiences from Ontario stakeholders

The workshop is designed for ECV stakeholders including researchers, producers, wholesalers, retailers, importers and students.

Time: 8:30am to 4.30pm
Location: John Eccles Centre, South Ring Road, Maritime Residence at the University of Guelph
